* Please note that a core release is not a full setup, just the plain files needed to get Mercury running. If you want a setup, use the ones from the Download Page. A description about installing and running core releases is on the wiki.

Basic Launcher

Mercury launcher.

Install:
  1. Place MercuryStart.exe in (mercury program directory).

USB Launcher

Mercury launcher which saves your settings in (mercury program directory).
This means if Mercury is installed on your USB stick, your settings will also be stored on the USB stick

Install:
  1. Place MercuryStart_USB.exe in (mercury program directory), this should be a directory on your USB stick.

Substance Look and Feel

Mercury supports Substance 4.

Install:
  1. Download substance-lite.jar
  2. Place it in (mercury program directory)/lib
In Global Settings, Appearance, Look and feel you can set your look and feel to a Substance skin or theme.


Skin Look and Feel

Mercury supports the SkinLF by l2fprod.

Install:
  1. Go to the download site
  2. Download the SkinLF zip
  3. Open the zip file
  4. Extract lib/skinlf.jar to (mercury program directory)/lib
In Global Settings, Appearance, Look and feel you can set your look and feel to a SkinLF skin.

You can find a large number of skins on javatoo.com that are compatible with SkinLF.
Skins should be placed in (mercury settings directory)/AppData/Skins.
